Neocraft

Project

NeoCraft Transfer describes the possibilities of using modern computer- and internet-based technologies (Web 2.0) to pool, maintain and share the knowledge of old traditional crafts. For this, the project partners from the participating partner countries Germany, Liechtenstein, Austria, Bulgaria, Turkey and Portugal have put together a virtual catalog (found here) based on the worldwide free geocaching web based game. This catalog contains 180 geocaches in total in the partner countries, with descriptions of old traditional crafts.

The project “NeoCraft Transfer” ends on 31.08.2018. On the basis of the findings to date, the partners believe that the instrument of geocaching is very well suited to make a meaningful contribution to vocational education as an innovative teaching method.
